A Material with Tradition, Flexibility and Versatility

Wood wool is one of the traditional materials used in craft and artistic practice. Thanks to its light and flexible structure, it is used in the creation of decorations, sculptural frameworks, scenographic elements, seasonal ornaments and various handmade products.
It is easy to shape, can be bound with wire or string, or glued using natural binders. It can be dyed, combined with textiles or other natural materials, and formed into both delicate and voluminous structures. In professional scenography, it is often used as an imitation of straw, hay or natural textures.
Beech wood wool, thanks to the density and strength of its fibers, allows the creation of more stable objects than wool from softwoods.
